Virtual Sarcoidosis Patient Event: Debunk the Myths Around COVID-19, Vaccines and Sarcoidosis

On 28th October from 10am-12pm, SarcoidosisUK and The Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals will be hosting another virtual patient event called “Debunk the Myths Around COVID-19, Vaccines and Sarcoidosis”.
 
Following the success of the Sarcoidosis Patient Day in April and the Neurosarcoidosis Patient Day in June, we hope you will join us for what is set to be another fantastic event.

Virtual Sarcoidosis Patient Event Speakers

Dr Vasileios Kouranos

Dr Vasilis Kouranos is a consultant respiratory physician at the Royal Brompton Hospital. He has great experience in management of patients with sarcoidosis, interstitial lung disease and pulmonary fibrosis. 

Dr Peter Kelleher

Dr Peter Kelleher is a clinical immunologist and senior lecturer at St Mary’s. With two sessions at Royal Brompton Hospital, Dr Kelleher advises on immunological investigations of patients referred by Royal Brompton consultants.

Dr Ricardo Jose

Dr Ricardo José is a consultant in respiratory medicine at Royal Brompton Hospital, with expertise in accute and chronic respiratory infections, immunodeficiency and respiratory disease associated with cancer.

Professor Athol Wells

Professor Athol Wells is a consultant in respiratory medicine at Royal Brompton Hospital and highly regarded as the lead professor for sarcoidosis the UK. He is also the principal editor or co-editor of three books including Sarcoidosis (CRC Press, 2012).
