The British Thoracic Society (BTS) are leading a new Clinical Statement on Pulmonary Sarcoidosis. They are currently asking for members of the public to review and comment on the document.
The Statement is being written by a group of experts from across the UK, led by Dr Muhunthan Thillai (SarcoidosisUK Clinical Board member) and Professor Athol Wells. Nurse Jo Whight (SarcoidosisUK Nurse Helpline) is also a key member of the working group as a patient representative.
BTS Statements provide a snapshot of knowledge and best practice in a specific clinical area, including a series of clinical practice points. The Sarcoidosis Statement will be instrumental in directing sarcoidosis care across the NHS over the next 5-10 years. It is therefore a very important document and we need your help to make sure that the patient voice is heard! Click here for more information on the Statement from the BTS website.
The draft Statement is now available for public consultation before undergoing final review and official publication. Comments are invited by downloading and completing the response form below.
Please return the completed form to: Sally Welham, Deputy Chief Executive, British Thoracic Society – firstname.lastname@example.org. Deadline: 5pm Friday 20 December 2019
