‘Sarcoidosis: patient treatment priorities’ has been published in European Respiratory Journal – Open Research.
Jack Richardson, SarcoidosisUK Senior Executive, is a member of the European Lung Foundation (ELF) Patient Advisory Group (PAG) which is contributing to new sarcoidosis treatment guidelines currently being written by a European Respiratory Society clinical taskforce. Jack, alongside other members of the PAG, is ensuring that the views of sarcoidosis patients are taken into account in the upcoming guidelines. As part of this process a survey was written and circulated to sarcoidosis patients across Europe in spring 2018. The survey asked patients to rate their treatment priorities. Quality of Life and Functionality were ranked as the highest priorities, according to the 1,842 respondents. The full results and analysis of the survey has been published in the ERS Open Research Journal, click the link above to read more.
Thank you if you answered the survey and helped contribute to this important project.
