SARCOIDOSISUK GLOUCESTER EVENT
SarcoidosisUK Sponsored events happening in Gloucester. We hope that your get involved by entering or cheering on the amazing event.
For the first time ever Gloucester Marathon has chosen SarcoidosisUK as their sponsored event. This is amazing for the charity not only due to the addition funds that will be gained through receiving entrance fee pay donations but also thanks to the awareness raised of the charity as all runners will see the SarcoidosisUK logo, no matter who they raise fund for.
We really encourage everyone to consider participating in the event, especially those in the located near Gloucester. With this being the first ever sponsored event it would be great to get some SarcoidosisUK runners involved. Refreshments, prizes and a photographer will all be included. Runners of all abilities are welcome including club athletes, elites, recreational runners and charity runners who are encouraged to raise monies for good causes.
Alternatively, please come to cheer the amazing participants.
Events Occurring – 19th January 2020
This will take place on the Start line on School Lane at 09.55am (300 metres from Race HQ Severn Vale Sports Centre). The Race Start is at 10.00am
This will take place on the Start line School Lane at 08.55am (30 metres from the entrance of Severn Vale Sports Centre). Race Start is at 09.00am
This will take place on the footpath at 08.50am opposite the Start of the 50K Run on Severnvale Drive.
The Race Start is at 09.03am 800 metres from Severn Vale Sports Centre on Severnvale Drive. Please allow enough time to get to the Start. There will be yellow signs with black writing to the 50K Start and black arrows. When you come out of the Sports Centre turn left into School Road after 300 metres turn left into St James after 300 metres turn left into Severnvale Drive the Start is 100 metres along Severnvale Drive.

- High 5 at every other feed station
- Distance markers for the Marathon every mile for the Half Marathon every 1k and for the 50K Run every 10K
- Toilets available and ample free parking thanks to local businesses and Gloucestershire County Council
- Minimum age is 17 years of age for the Half Marathon 18 years of age for the Marathon and 20 Years of age for the 50K Run
